About

I started my journey of computers in the late 80's when the use of computers was first starting out. I started using computers while working with my sister at a travel agency, and we used computers for reservations and ticket management.This was all a new concept for all of us, and only used it for the business. Later in the 90's I worked at a perfume factory doing data entry for a few years, but my computer use did not go further than this.

After that my journey changed and I went into the medical field. I worked for a medical center as a messenger, but became more interested in the medical aspect of the center I worked at and the work that was being done there. After I moved out of state, I wanted continue with my interest in the medical field and became a nursing assitant then a nurse and have been doing that ever since. I do nursing because I love the satisfaction I get from being able to help people when they are sick, and being able to help my community.My main focus has been raising my kids and helping my community.But while was focused on those things, I have never lost sight of my passion for computing. I have used computers more and more as the time has passed, especially since almost everything now a days is done with computers. I have kept my self up to the times and the aspect of computing.

Although I have not been able to get formal computer training or a degree, I have done a lot of self teaching and online learning.I have thought myself how to troubleshoot and repair my own computers, exchange hard drives and memroy boards.I have built and modified my computers as needed.I thought myself how to install operating systems, going from Windows to Linux and back to Windows.I can repair cellphones and tablets. Then I started to learn programmingg and coding. Started to learn Python, C, C++, C#, and Cloud computing. I am not sure why I have waited all this time but finally started to learn Web development, which is why we are in this project.This is a great time to live in and there are so many opportunities to learn to learn. I love to learn new things and and keep upto date on the things I know.
